A well-rounded education is essential.
First, I attained a degree in biology in order to understand the workings of the entire human body. Then I focused on health and visual functions of the eye. Of course, attaining these degrees took hard work, but it allows me to offer you the full perspective on total vision health for you and your family.
Bachelor of Science: Biology, Boston College, 1979
Doctor of Optometry: New England College of Optometry, 1984
A lifelong dedication to better eye care.
I believe the education process should never stop. That’s why I’ve dedicated so much time to postdoctoral training in a variety of subjects. You can feel confident that I’m up to date on the latest advances in eye care, and therefore can bring you the most effective treatments possible.
I was one of the first optometrists in the state to receive my therapeutic license to treat eye disease, and I continually keep my education up to date so if there is a new treatment available, you’ll be the first to have it.
Professional memberships to stay current.
Through memberships in professional organizations, I’m able to meet with my colleagues to share ideas and concerns to be better able to serve you.
